The Winterhaven Festival of Lights has become one of the food bank’s major fund raising events with thousands of pounds of food and thousands of dollars raised each year. Through the Festival of Lights, we continue to help the Community Food Bank meet some of the needs of those less fortunate.

Through a partnership with TEP, the Festival has replaced 1,200 strands of traditional bulbs with new energy-efficient light emitting diode (LED) lights.  "These lights serve as a shining example of the possibilities of energy conservation" said Steve Lynn, TEP's Vice President of Communication and Government Relations. "Replacing incandescent bulbs with LED or fluorescent lights is just one of man y ways to use energy more efficiently without sacrificing the beauty, utility, or convenience of our modern lives"
